Leadership and The Irish American Partnership
Former Taoiseach (Prime Minister of Ireland), Bertie Ahern
"The
Irish American Partnership's focus on economic development and, in particular,
on education, plays an important role in developing our young people, and
through them building and growing our economy. I believe that The Irish
American Partnership focuses on the critical issues.
I salute all of the
individuals and corporations who have supported the Partnership and I commend
it to you as worthy of further support for the excellent work which they are
doing."
President
of Ireland, Mary McAleese
"The
Irish American Partnership provides an important focus on support for job
education, economic development and education in Ireland. Its
contribution to Ireland in these fields, through its members and supporters,
is greatly valued."
Former Secretary
of State for Northern Ireland, Paul Murphy MP
"The
wide range of education and economic development projects which The Irish
American Partnership has undertaken are tangible evidence that its fusion of
goodwill and American business savvy offers much to the people in Northern
Ireland and throughout the island of Ireland.
The Partnership's
investments in the young people of Northern Ireland and across its
communities, have given it an important part to play in shaping its future."
Deputy First Minister, Northern Ireland
Assembly, Martin
McGuinness MP
"I
would like to thank you and your colleagues for your generosity in providing
the opportunity for a number of our schools to benefit from funding under the
programme for the purchase of library books.
The
Partnership's awards will significantly enhance the range and quality of
literature available in these schools and will provide pleasure and stimulate
and encourage further reading and learning by their pupils."
