Nollaig na mBan [Women’s Christmas], is held each year in January throughout Ireland to celebrate women’s leadership within the family and community. The Irish American Partnership commemorates this tradition with a celebration event highlighting Irish and Irish-American female leaders and the positive impact they have worldwide. This January, we are honored to welcome the 7th President of Ireland and first female to hold this office, former United Nations High Commissioner of Human Rights, and Founding member and Chair of The Elders, Mary Robinson.
