Cillian Murphy shares the Partnership’s interest in empowering young people to actively engage in their communities. Developed by the UNESCO Child & Family Research Centre at NUI Galway, Activating Social Empathy is an interactive social and emotional learning program and a resource tool for post-primary schools across Ireland. The aim of the program is to improve empathy skills and foster positive peer relations among secondary school students. Featuring multiple youth-led initiatives, the program has proven effective at preventing bullying behavior, tackling racism, and promoting understanding. The Partnership is honored to support the Activating Social Empathy education program in secondary schools.
