National Council for the Blind of Ireland (NCBI) will be co-hosting a new fundraising event this fall. The 1st Annual Westchester Golf Classic will be held at the Westchester Country Club in Rye, N.Y. on October 2, 2023. This inaugural fundraising event will support both NCBI and Prevent Blindness.

Event attendees are invited to enjoy brunch, 18 holes on the PGA Championship west course, cocktails and dinner, according to an announcement from Prevent Blindness.

Attendees will also have the chance to bid on unique items such as tickets with backstage passes to a U2 concert at The Sphere Las Vegas, or a trip to play on a world championship golf course in Ireland. 

Participation in this event supports eye health programs for people in the U.S. and Ireland, and contributes to this cross-continental alliance.
