Nollaig na mBan [Women’s Christmas], is held each year in January throughout Ireland to celebrate women’s leadership within the family and community. The Irish American Partnership commemorates this tradition with a celebration event highlighting Irish and Irish-American female leaders and the positive impact they have worldwide.

This January, we are delighted to welcome Executive Producer and Award-winning Actor Geraldine Hughes as our creative vanguard of women’s leadership. Born in West Belfast, Geraldine Hughes is a critically-acclaimed actress, producer, playwright, and philanthropist. She’s currently Lead Producer on the film In The Land Of Saints And Sinners, and an executive producer on The Last Rifleman starring Pierce Brosnan. In honor of our speaker, the proceeds of the Annual Nollaig na mBan Women’s Leadership Celebration will be donated to the Integrated Education Fund and The Mac Belfast Arts Centre.

Geraldine Hughes will be interviewed by Partnership friend and CNN correspondent Donie O’Sullivan. Based in New York City, Donie O’Sullivan is a leading expert in his field whose work primarily focuses on the intersection of politics and technology.
