2023 Honoree Adrian Jones

Since its launch in 1986, the Partnership has been championed and supported by leading Irish and Irish American business and political leaders. In April 2023, the New York Business Leaders Breakfast will honor Chairman & Co-Head Global Private Equity, Goldman Sachs, Adrian Jones.

A Roscommon native, Adrian is a graduate of the University of Galway, University College Dublin, and Harvard University. He moved to the United States in 1989 where he worked for two years at the Bank of Boston in Credit Derivatives. Prior to that Adrian was commissioned as a lieutenant in the Irish Army in 1983 and served in the United Nations Peacekeeping Force in Southern Lebanon until 1988. He joined Goldman Sachs in 1994 as an associate in the Investment Banking Division. He joined Principal Investing in London in 1998; returning to New York in 2002 he was named managing director. He became a partner in 2004. In addition to representing Goldman Sachs on a number of corporate boards, Adrian also serves on the board of Autism Speaks. He resides in Ridgewood, New Jersey with his family.
